Role Overview:
As a Trainee Financial Analyst, you will work closely with senior finance professionals, analysts, and business leaders to support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making activities.
You will gain hands-on experience analysing financial data, identifying business trends, preparing management reports, and supporting projects that influence key commercial and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and management information packs.
- Analyse financial performance data and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Currently undertaking, or having successfully completed, an FCA/PRA-related professional qualification.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret financial information.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in financial analysis and business performance.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Previous experience in finance, accounting, data analysis, or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
